The 2019 Major League Baseball playoffs begin on Tuesday night with the Washington Nationals and Milwaukee Brewers playing the National League wild card game.

The winner of the game goes to the National League Division Series, where he will meet the Los Angeles Dodgers in a top five series.

Washington (93-69) is the host of the game due to finishing four games ahead of Milwaukee (89-73) in the league's first wild card spot, but these are two of the league's hottest teams. Nationals finished the regular season with eight straight wins, while Brewers went from 20 to 7 in September to reach the postseason.
