Microsoft has shown itself to be very committed to its new web browser, Edge, and it seems that all the work has paid off. In addition to new users who can download it, it was also used to replace its old version, which in itself helps Microsoft to have the desired impact.
As it was widely talked about due to being a browser based on Chromium and even having some better functions than Google Chrome itself, the interest of users was very high, placing Microsoft Edge already above the famous Firefox.
According to data from NetMarketShare, Edge is in the second position of the most used browsers on the internet, with a share of 7.59% of all worldwide use. This figure is slightly above Firefox, which ends in third place with 7.19%.
At the top we find the undisputed Google Chrome, which is used by more than half of the computer world, with 68.5%.
Microsoft Edge was introduced in late 2018 and since that time it has always captivated users due to the set of very attractive and useful functions. However, after updating to the Chromium system, the browser gained another image and a greater attraction for users, something that can be noticed based on the results.
In the graph we can still find the old Internet Explorer, which is still used by 5.87% of users, something that Microsoft should try to replace soon due to the greater possibility of options for the new Edge.
